Product Overview
Glass Fiber without Binder
Glass Microfiber Filters are a depth filter media which retain particles within the matrix of fibers. These filters offer high loading capacity, good efficiency and high flow rates. Highly resistant to chemical attack and are thermostable. Pure borosilicate glass fiber filters are biologically inert and provide minimum interference or background for the analysis of pollutants.
Glass Fiber filters are ideal for various applications. Widely used for water and air pollution analysis. Standard filter for liquid clarification and as a prefilter to extend membrane life.
Binder-free grades are used for the analysis of total suspended solids, dissolved and volatile solids. Use grade GA55 for TTS US EPA Standard Method 2540D (equivalent to 934-AH). Use grade GC50 for dissolved and suspended solids Standard Method EN872 (equivalent to GF/C)
Advantec offers several binder-free grades with a collection efficiency of 99.99% DOP for air monitoring applications. Grade GB100R is typically used for heavy metals analysis using Hi-Vol air samplers for PM10 analysis.
For suggested grades for other applications see Specifications tab.
