Advantec Cellulose Extraction Thimbles are seamless and manufactured from high purity alpha cotton cellulose. 

Grade No.84 is often used for food analysis including in a Soxhlet apparatus for extracting soluble components using organic solvents for the determination of fats and oils from foods, feeds, and oil seeds.  It is also used to extract and concentrate non-aqueous chemicals or additives from a solid sample for analysis such as HPLC or gas chromatography for PCB and pesticides. Suitable for dust sampling applications.

Lipid content is < 0.1% by weight.
