Advantec Quartz Fiber Thimble Filters are seamless and made from 100% pure silica fibers.  Quartz thimbles offer the highest heat resistance and can be used in temperatures up to 1000°C.

Grade No.88RH is prefired at 900°C for 4 hours to stabilize the weight prior to use.  In addition, both the No.88R and No.88RH are taperered for ease in loading into stack samplers.
